Australia is known for its sunny beaches and warm climate, but it also has some great ski resorts.  The ski season usually runs from June to Sept/Oct. Here are some of the best places to ski in Australia:

 

1. Perisher: Perisher is Australia's largest ski resort, located in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales. It offers over 1,200 hectares of skiable terrain, with 47 lifts and four connected resorts. 

 

2. Thredbo: Thredbo is another popular ski resort located in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales. It has over 480 hectares of skiable terrain, with 14 lifts and a vertical drop of 672 meters. 

 

3. Falls Creek: Falls Creek is a ski resort located in the Victorian Alps of Victoria. It has over 450 hectares of skiable terrain, with 90 runs and 14 lifts. 

 

4. Mount Hotham: Mount Hotham is another ski resort located in the Victorian Alps of Victoria. It has over 320 hectares of skiable terrain, with 13 lifts and a vertical drop of 395 meters.

 

5. Mount Buller: Mount Buller is a ski resort located in the Victorian Alps of Victoria. It has over 300 hectares of skiable terrain, with 22 lifts and a vertical drop of 400 meters.

 

Each of these ski resorts offers a unique experience and a variety of ski runs suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers. This is just a general guide and it is essential to do your own research before beginning your activities or training
