As part of the yacht maintenance team, your main role will be assisting with the preparation of yachts for RYA sailing courses, and various cruises. Weekly duties will include:

- Cleaning yachts below decks

-Fogging the yachts & wet weather gear

- Cleaning yachts above decks

- Replacing gas bottles

- Checking all safety equipment and other inventory items

- Moving sails around the marina where when needed

- Preparing classrooms for shore-based courses

- Preparing the trailer for Sea Survival courses

- Packing food crates

- Under supervision, other duties to include assisting with refits and general maintenance.

We are looking for a hardworking, punctual, and reliable person to join our shore-based team. This role is part time 8 hours a week, split over two 4-hour sessions 15:00hrs – 19:00hrs on a Friday & Sunday afternoon. Additional hours may be available. This is a varied role and would suit someone who can work both independently and as part of a team. January start, full training provided. As well as being a paid position, you will have the opportunity to gain RYA qualifications as part of your ongoing training. Own transport is required get to Hamble Point Marina. An interest in yachting is desirable.
