Deckhand required for 1 month charter 

A Cairns based charter company is looking for an energetic and motivated Deckhand to join us on 1 month charter in FNQ, departing Gold Coast 10/09/2021. Must not get seasick and be fit and able to work. 

Candidates will require 

• Coxswain Ticket with relevant qualification to work on a charter boat  
• Excellent fishing knowledge and previous guiding experience preferred.  
• An ability to work and live in a small ship environment
• Senior first aid 
• A team player with the ability to multi-task in a busy charter environment

Duties will include 

• Guiding guests on Fishing Experiences
• General deck hand duties
• Preparing and setting rigs up
• Tender Maintenance and servicing
• Watch keeping duties 
• Other duties as directed by ships master
