Job Description

We require an experienced Tour Guide for our Hobart day tours, who is able to meet the essential qualifications, is experienced in Tasmania guiding work, and is ready to commence training and working immediately.

You will need to be available for at least 2-4 days a week across our 7 day a week roster.

Essential Requirements for our Tour Guides:

• Light Rigid Driving License (minimum)
• Current First Aid Qualifications
• Public Passenger Ancillary Certificate
• Working with Vulnerable people
• Confident, experienced and competent driver of tour vehicles with trailers

You will need to be fit, active & energetic. Excellent knowledge of Tasmania, short hikes and National Parks is also required

Applicants need to be experienced with driving tour vehicles or similar – Toyota Commuter, Toyota Coaster and handling trailers. 

Our Active Day Tours from Hobart operate in the following major destinations where we undertake guided walks with an emphasis on in-depth interpretation along the way.

• Mt. Field National Park & Mt. Wellington
• Freycinet National Park
• Port Arthur & Tasman Peninsula
• Maria Island National Park
• Lake St. Clair
