We are a premier Kayak adventure tour company in Las Vegas, operating in Lake Mohave, and the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. We are looking for professional, mature, and fun guides to join our team. We operate a multi-sport program that includes kayaking and hiking.

We have one of the most comprehensive guide training programs in the area at about 2 weeks in duration. All kayak guides and shuttle guides will instruct and safely lead outdoor trips, assist in river launches, retrievals, and shuttles to/from Las Vegas hotels. Responsibilities will include working hard, entertaining incredible people from all over the world, exploring the outback of the Black Canyon on the Colorado River, and keeping work environment safe, clean, and presentable.

We are looking for applicants who are available for training on April 1st.

Qualifications:
If you are outgoing, enjoy entertaining and educating a diverse audience, are confident in a leadership role, and have a passion for nature, we may have a position for you.
Qualified applicants must also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to entertain the guests. Strong communication and public speaking skills are a must. Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment, enjoy being active, and able to lift 50+ lbs. Guides must demonstrate solid work ethic, possess high standards, be detail-oriented, and extremely organized. Qualified applicants must be able to make proper decisions quickly and work calmly in tense or chaotic situations and be efficient within a team. You must act in a professional manner at all times, and dress according to your scope of work. Previous guiding experience is desired, but not required.

Requirements:
Clean driving record – No DUIs and DOT medical examiners certificate
Non-smoking work environment
Professional
Cell phone with SMS capabilities (text)
Internet and email access
Practice Leave No Trace ethics
Must be at least 18 years to Guide 28 to drive

Must be able to attend 2 week training starting April 1st.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $12.50 per hour
