Salary: £34,170 - £42,357 per annum, pro rata

Fixed Term until June 2022

Variable Hours up to 35 hours per week

We are one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and well qualified individual(s) who are passionate about outdoor education, outdoor/adventure activities and developing potential in others. 

You will have current skills across a range of vocational qualifications such as canoeing, kayaking, hillwalking, climbing, archery, orienteering, mountain biking, bushcraft etc. to teach on our Certificate of Outdoor Activities and Leadership programme, as well as lecturing on degree modules up to and including modules at SCQF level 10 on our BA (H) Outdoor Education and Learning degree.

You must have clear and confident communication skills, the ability to relate well to others and work as part of a team, good planning and organisational skills, initiative, and self-motivation.  Minibus driving and trailer towing experience is essential. 

You will have the opportunity to participate in a full curriculum review of our outdoor provision, helping shape the outdoor course portfolio of the future.
