Are you a sucker for all things bike tech? Would you like the opportunity to work with (and talk about) MTB tech all day, try the latest gadgets, and help to plan our exciting content? If so, we have just the job for you…

KEY SKILLS

  • A huge passion for bike tech and a knowledge of what the current trends are in the MTB market.
  • Experience in the pro MTB world, qualified mechanic or engineer, ideally having worked for a pro MTB team or bike manufacturer.
  • Ability to write quickly, accurately and concisely for scripting and research purposes. A high level of written and spoken english is required.
  • Ability and willingness to develop presentation skills by watching your videos back and listening to feedback from your colleagues.
  • Willingness to attend shoots sometimes at short notice and in various locations in the UK and abroad. These may be during the week or on weekends.
  • Previous presenting experience would be good, but is not essential.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, script and present videos based on the programming schedule
  • General research for content ideas
  • Work with the editorial and commercial team to develop ideas for content for the channel
  • Review content and provide feedback for any content you have presented or scripted
  • For filming days you will be supplied with a call sheet which will give full instruction for filming
  • Delivery of completed scripts on time for approval
  • Work with the creator(s) on set and follow their direction
  • Work with and support the social media output of the channels
  • Liaise with the production coordinator for planning and logistics of shoots
  • Ensure you only support partner brands in any social media content including personal profiles
  • Support the eCommerce and events team when required
  • Publish and traffic uploaded videos to the channel if necessary
  • Manage social media profiles in collaboration with the other presenters
  • Answer comments and questions to videos from the community
  • Presenters are required to regularly work on location in the UK and overseas
