Our Place in the Mountains. Situated in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park looking out across spectacular mountains and just a short stroll from Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake), it's a magical place to work.

 

Activity Instructor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at our very own partnership activity hotel based in North Wales. We are looking for an exceptional instructor who is dynamic, self-motivated and able to draw on a range of outdoor coaching and teaching experiences to create significant and beneficial experiences for our visiting partners.

 

Role Requirements:

  • Passionate about sport and exercise, particularly in an outdoor adventure setting and be able to inspire people to take part in meaningful activities

  • Deliver a wide range of activity sessions to a variety of John Lewis and Waitrose partners and their guests - these may include young people, adults, families and those with specialist needs.

  • Assist the lead instructor in inspecting safety equipment on a regular basis.

  • Maintain a flexible approach to work which will involve continuous work in an outdoor environment, work on evenings and weekends as part of a shift pattern.

  • Be required to take activity bookings upon guest arrival

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Experience teaching / working at Outdoor Centre

  • GNAS Archery award or equivalent

  • Worked previously on high ropes courses

  • First Aid Qualification

 

Desirable skills/ qualifications:

  • To have experience in teaching a minimum of 2 activities from the list above
