Job Description

We are recruiting for a number of permanent and fixed-term Instructor positions to join our team at our Outdoor Education Centre in East Sussex.

We are one of London Youth's residential centres. London Youth is a network of diverse community youth organisations serving young people of all backgrounds right across the capital. We work with all young people but place a particular emphasis on those who wouldn’t otherwise have access to the kind of opportunities we offer.

Salary: £19,459.44 per annum plus meals when at work if clients are in.

Hours: 42.5 hours per week on average - please note, this role requires evening, overnight sleeping duties, weekend and bank holiday work.

Leave: 39 days per annum (31 days plus 8 days in lieu of bank holidays) Leave entitlement will be calculated on a pro-rated basis for part-time employees.

Accommodation: Due to the nature of the job we offer accommodation on-site. This accommodation is shared and charged at £249.42 per month (variable in line with the government’s set NMW accommodation offset rate).
