The world's largest hang gliding school, is starting a Paragliding and Powered Paragliding school. Located on the coast of North Carolina, the Outer Banks is steeped in aviation history. The Wright Brothers flew the first airplane here in 1903, Francis Rogallo, the Father of Hang Gliding, lived here, and we have been "Teaching the World to Fly" since 1974. The Outer Banks also boasts the best surfing, kite surfing and fishing on the east coast, making it a vacation destination for millions.
We are looking for a USHPA certified* paragliding instructor and a USPPA* certified Powered Paragliding instructor to teach lessons from sand dunes and with a scooter tow system. We need instructors who are ready to work hard, be flexible and do whatever it takes to help grow our school.
The position will be extended seasonal with potential for year round employment.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching beginner and advanced paragliding lessons
Equipment Maintenance
Help with Promotion and Marketing
Training of current staff
Expectations:
