Job Description

We are seeking a qualified customer service representative/ administrator to be our Club Administrator. Candidates must be able to multi-task and handle a constant influx of customers both in person and on the phone. Responsibilities include answering phone lines, taking registrations, and handling walk-in customers. Candidate must be self-motivated and flexible, with business experience a plus. A positive attitude and outgoing personality are a must.

· Be “the face” our organization with excellent customer service: must be personable, friendly, and outgoing.

· Book, reserve, and take payment for programs and offerings.

· Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, board, and membership.

· Welcome prospective members, discuss benefits of membership, give tours of property.

· Support with light administration and oversight for a variety of programs within the club including activities programs, membership and visitors, and the bar/restaurant. Work closely with team to assure that all programs are working seamlessly.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Attract potential customers and members by answering program and service questions.

- Learn management software program ClubSpot and be able to use effectively.

· Opens and records member records by updating account information.

· Resolve product or service issues by clarifying customers complaint, determining cause, selecting and explaining the best solution or referred to the proper point person, and follow up to ensure resolution

· Answer phones and direct to correct staff member. Take detailed phone messages.

· Create email announcements through MailChimp.

· Recommend potential products or services to customers

· Liaison between Board of Directors and day to day club happenings. Work with Board Members to Prepare packets for board meetings.

· Maintain a complete knowledge of all club offerings.

· Appropriate presentation at all times.

Ideal Candidate Possesses the following Competencies and Skills:

· Problem solving, Conflict resolution, Multi-tasking

· Friendly, and good people skills a must

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Knowledge of MS Office suite, Google Docs, and DropBox a must. Must be quick to learn new computer programs.

· Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs and walk easily on uneven terrain.

Compensation

· Position is full time Tuesday through Saturday. Starting pay between $19-$21 per hour. Hours, pay, and position may increase depending on skill and interest and growth of membership. Employment includes weekend hours. This position reports to the Board of Directors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends

Experience:

  • Administrative: 5 years (Preferred)
  • customer service: 5 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
