Job Description

Located on beautiful Moreton Island, we are looking for an outgoing and motivated individual to join us as a Full Time Scuba Dive Instructor.

Moreton Island is the 3rd largest sand island in the world, and is a sub-tropical paradise – complete with wide open beaches, an abundance of wildlife, and plenty of diving opportunities. Uniquely, we are only 1 hour and 15 minutes ferry launch away from Brisbane, the state capital for Queensland.

The successful applicant will have a combination of diving, dive operation management and customer service skills, with a passion for safety and delivering unforgettable moments. Demonstrated experience in delivering a variety of PADI courses will be vital in succeeding in this role; therefore all applicants must hold an OWSI rating or higher. This position is available now!

The successful applicants should be available to start immediately, or within a short period of time as negotiated. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000.

Please note, this position will require you to relocate to Moreton Island.

The successful applicant must have: 

• Demonstrated diving technique and instructional knowledge as described above.
• A passion for customer service.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid).
• A commitment to safety.

Additional desirable skills include:

• Boat / Jet Ski Licence.
• Administrative or Computer Skills.
• Oceanic Equipment Technician, or similar training in maintaining compressors and / or diving equipment. 
• Prior experience in a similar role.
