Job Description

We are looking for two permanent staff to be based in Vietnam. We are a member of the global network of schools providing outdoor experiential education. This network operates in over 35 countries around the globe and with over 200,000 participants attending courses each year. In Vietnam, we currently operates centres in two provinces and provides courses for schools, companies and summer camps with a vision for significant domestic expansion and growth. Our Senior Instructors are great facilitators and have a range of outdoor qualifications and experience. We are looking for instructors who are sea kayakers and are comfortable living in a rapidly developing country in Asia. The role involves program delivery, mentoring new staff, delivering training, coordinating programs and building a positive working environment.

Previous Experience:

• Sea-kayaking experience

• Previous experience is desirable.

• Multi-day backpacking experience

• Experience in high ropes, navigation, rock climbing etc

Essential Qualifications:

• Current Wilderness Advanced First Aid

• Lifesaving qualification / Bronze Medallion

• Police clearance

• Must clear a Vietnamese immigration health check

Desirable Qualification:

• Swimming coach experience

• Leave No Trace Master Educator

• Degree in Outdoor Education or similar field

• Driving License / Motorbike License

• Living or working experience in Asia or tropical climates

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications

• Monthly salary for 24 months
