Principal Function: The Adventure Camp Zip Line Leader is responsible for overseeing the zip line activities and equipment to ensure the safety of all campers. Supervises the use of a zip line that is 250 feet in length and 15 feet high.

Schedule and Hours: The standard hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 8:00a-4:00p. Some staff may work early arrival care beginning at 7:15a or late departure care until 5:30p. Staff training begins on May 24th, 2021 and camp begins on June 1st, 2021. The last day of camp is August 8th, 2021. Must be able to attend staff training week and at least 8 of the 10 weeks of camp. This description is for general illustrative purposes and is not a guarantee of available work hours.
Compensation: This is a 40 hours/week , seasonal position that is eligible for approved overtime. Benefits are not provided. Pay is based on experience and starts at $10.75/hour.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
