Job Description

We are currently looking for qualified instructors to train and help during the season and off-season.
 

Responsibilities:
- Picking up surf bus or van and equipment and bringing it to designated surf location (Venice or Santa Monica);
- Keeping surf bus and/or van, surfboards and wetsuits clean;
- Meeting/greeting clients at the location, having them sign waivers and giving them properly fitted clean wetsuits and proper suitable boards;
- Being able to give in-depth land instructions and theory prior to entering the water (we will train you in this);
- Ensuring the clients are having a fun and safe experience;
- Recognising dangers and keeping clients safe at all times.

Compensation:Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE + tips and bonuses

Requirements

* At least three years of surf experience and positive vibes are a must.
* Previous surf instructor experience and related certifications are a plus.
Key requirements are:
* The ability to communicate effectively, be friendly and engaging
* The ability to display patience and understanding
* Must be responsible, reliable and punctual
* Must be willing to take good care of the equipment
