The location cannot be beaten for its jaw-dropping beauty – situated on the shores of Loch Tay, with direct views over the water to the spectacular Lawers mountain range. 

Our accommodation offers 5 star self-catering holiday and also welcomes day visitors who wish to experience The Hot Box  ‘wild wellness spa’, or to soak up the atmosphere and views at the Ferryman’s Inn. We offer experience packages and  water sports hire, as well as 40 seasonal berths Marina.

For joining the water sport team we have a floating 8 metre diameter inflatable trampoline, floating ‘iceberg’ climbing wall and inflatable catapult along with a fleet of single and giant 8-person paddle boards, open kayaks, canoes and fishing boats. 

DESCRIPTION

• Managing phone enquiries and bookings for all activities using ‘bookly’
• Check weather and organising cleaning and repairs of equipment ready for guests and hire session
• You will be required to have excellent customer service with ensuring that all  buoyancy aids and wetsuits are clean and the appropriate sizes. 
• You will required to know the company of Conduct, safety regulations and policies.
• Assist in embarkation/disembarkation procedures for the different activities.
• Deliver a Safety talk for appropriate sports activity- explain the effects of the changing weather on Loch Tay and the respect  and awareness of other users on the Loch .
• You are able to give tips and advice on how to enjoy the activity. You are NOT required to give instruction.
• You will required to know what safety procedures around fuelling and fuel spillages and be able to give correct advice to on how to tie up boat correctly at the Marina.
• Staff are required to do kit checks and  COVID cleaning of all equipment after every session
• As part of the overall Team we ask that you are able to flexible in support all departments whether in the Ferryman’s Inn, Maintenance, Hot Box Spa and housekeeping. 

Requirements for this job;

The ideal candidate will have a fun, welcoming personality with the willingness to get involved. They will be hardworking and motivated with a smiley disposition.

Good to have for this job;

• RYA Powerboat Level 2 ( can give training )
• Valid First Aid certificate (minimum of a 1 day course)
