THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Bicycle Tour Guide to support Wiradjuri Cycling Tours, to blend culture, adventure and fun to provide an exciting tour experience. This tour will promote Wiradjuri culture and stories of this garray (land).

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining bicycle equipment at the end of each tour
  • Greeting and informing participants on TSA guidelines and itinerary
  • Encouraging safety amongst participants
  • Blend culture, adventure and fun to provide an exciting tour experience
  • Contact participants to notify and reschedule if bad weather
  • Confirm cycle booking by phone with participants the afternoon prior to scheduled tour
  • Answer social media and web enquiries in a timely manner
  • Send weekly reports to your line manager with: completed feedback forms, number of tours, . participants ages and number of cancellations
  • Reporting to Line Manager

HOURS AND SALARY

This is a Casual position, approx. 3 hours per week. Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Miscellaneous Award Level 1.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE

  • Proficient in Bike Mechanics
  • Competent in Microsoft Office 365 and using computers and smart phones
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • First Aid Kit
  • Basic Bike tools
  • Strong Physical Fitness
  • Valid and current Drivers Licence and Clear Driving Record
  • Be able to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
