Job Description

We are inclusive and a national leader in the provision of performance ski coaching. We are the ‘go to’ ski club for children in the North of Scotland who want to be involved in competitive skiing, both alpine and freestyle.

Due to an expansion in our core offering we are looking for talented individuals to join our Coaching Team for the 2020/21 Season and beyond.

Alpine Ski Coach

Working with our Senior Team of two L3 qualified Alpine Head Coaches you will have or be working towards your L2 Alpine Coach. With a racing background and experience of working with kids this is a great opportunity to develop. The position offered is for 10 full weekends (20 days) throughout the Season with opportunities to participate in camps and the mid-week Schools programmes.

Pro-Ski Coach

Our Pro-Ski programme is designed to develop our non-Alpine based athletes. At its heart are the Park and Pipe disciplines however we intend to develop our Freeride, Skier Cross and Moguls offerings this season. We are looking for someone who can provide coaching at a high level across these disciplines. An ISIA or ISTD with Freestyle experience or competitive background for example. The position offered is for 10 full weekends (20 days) throughout the Season or 5 weekends (10 days) shared with another Coach, both with opportunities to participate in camps and the mid-week Schools programmes.

Adaptive Instructor

Last season we successfully trialled coaching sessions for trainees who would benefit from lower coach-trainee ratios and who may have additional training needs. As an inclusive club we are looking for an Adaptive Instructor to join our team and develop our programme. Initially for 10 days (10 weekends, Saturday’s only) with an opportunity to increase the days as you grow the programme working with our Development Officer.

Trainee Coaches and Instructors

We are committed to support trainees develop in the Snowsport industry and can offer shadowing hours and development support throughout the season.
