We are currently seeking a hosting superstar for our Milford Operation.

As one of our dedicated team you will have superb communication skills, a great work ethic, and a desire for excellence in all that you do. To be successful in this role your will have the following key skills and attributes:

• Passion to deliver an outstanding visitor experience 

• Previous proven customer service/hospitality experience 

• Calm and organised

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Comfortable in a marine environment, and physically capable of dealing with emergency situations

• Understands the importance of Health and Safety, and the responsibility of all staff to contribute to a safe working environment

• Food handling, Deck Hand, and First Aid certificates an advantage, although full training will be provided

• Team player

This is a full time role, minimum 32 hours per week over a 10 day roster, which will include weekends and public holidays, and evenings. This is a live-in position, subsidised accommodation (all staff have their own room) and a fully stocked staff kitchen are part of the job package.  

We are a premium tourism company dedicated to sharing some of New Zealand’s most iconic scenery and extraordinary experiences with the world. The company offers a range of cruises, as well as kayaking and an underwater observatory in Milford Sound, with coach and scenic flight transfers from Queenstown and Te Anau. In Queenstown, we operate daily cruises, and also specialise in private charters, conference and incentive packages. The company operates a number of retail outlets in Queenstown, Te Anau and Milford Sound.
