Meals are prepared and served by the guides and appropriate group leadership is always displayed to ensure both timeliness of the day and the best possible experience for our customers right until the drive away at the end of the tour, several days later.

About you: A self-starting and motivated guide who enjoys sharing and instructing people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Always asking yourself "How can I make my customer better than their last rapid?" and acting on it with clear communication and solid skills. You will have experience teaching paddling skills in Canoes, Rafts or Kayaks and be passionate about its delivery. The same goes for learning and showing the cultural, historical, and environmental facets of one on New Zealand's premier regions. It is also imperative that you have good personal hygiene habits that extend into food safety practices.

As much as anything, your temperament will be that of a calm and competent individual with an open and welcoming personality.
