Looking for a Canoe Instructor

Buscot, United Kingdom

Salary not listed

Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified canoe instructor or keen paddler, who is interested in gaining their instructor qualification to assist with our brand new canoe experiences on the river Thames.

Each session will last 90 minutes, you will explore down the river in the beautiful meanders and learn about the vast history that the river has to offer.

We are working closely with the amazing National Trust team to deliver this project. It is vitally important that both The National Trust and the business are happy with what is being delivered.

We are a new paddlesport experience provider, based in multiple locations around the UK. We are carrying across our core paddling products from our parent company, and rolling them out to different areas of the UK.

Our core product is family canoeing that is designed to bring fun and enlightenment to anyone who attends. We want to take families on a journey where they will learn about the wildlife and history of the site as well as the basics of how to paddle.

Our sessions will be focused on the customers having a really fun and enjoyable time on the water rather than learning advanced paddling techniques.

As a paddle instructor you will work with an experienced canoe instructor assisting with the delivery of the session.

A large part of the role will be explaining the history of the site and the nature around it. You will ensure that all of the customers have an amazing time whilst out on the river and everyone is catered for.

Our sessions will take place predominantly on weekends and school holidays throughout the summer. Weekend availability is a must.
