Do you love to be outdoors in the winter? Do you like moose? If you answered yes to any of the above, then come work for our Ski Club!

The Ski Club, operators of the Stake Lake Ski and Snowshoe Trails, located just 25 km south of Kamloops. We are a family-friendly destination that is a winter playground for anyone who loves sunshine and great snow!

We are looking for a number of individuals to fill a variety of roles.

What some of the duties include:

- greet visitors in the rental room or ticket booth

- equip guests with the appropriate gear to enjoy our trails

-maintain cleanliness of the rental room, day lodge and washroom buildings

-clean rental gear after use and maintain records of cleaning and use

-assist the ticket booth with ticket and rental sales when requested

-manage lodge and building occupancy to help maintain physical distancing

- other duties as needed for the operation of the trails

About you:

You are someone who loves dealing with people and helping them get the most out of their outdoor experience.

You have/are:

- customer service experience

- willing to work outdoors in winter conditions

- current in first aid (OFA 1 or emergency minimum) or willing to obtain

- available to work a variety of shifts between 09:00 - 21:00, including possible weekends and holidays

-have reliable transportation to the trails, we aren't on a bus route.

Ideally you:

- enjoy cross country skiing and/or snowshoeing

-have snowmobile experience

- are experienced with chainsaws

Position starts will depend on weather and operational need, but will likely be sometime in December, with training prior to start. Interviews with physical distancing and other safeguards will take place once a suitable number of candidates have applied.
