We are looking for casual divers to maintain an exhibit/tank for a federal government organisation.

Minimum requirements;

1. Recent diving history
2. PADI or SSI Dive Master or above, or ADAS Aquarium Diver or above
3. Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003)
4. Current CRP (HLTAID001) and O2/Advanced Resuscitation (HLTAID007) Certificates
5. Current Occupational Dive Medical AS2299.1 signed by SPUMS approved doctor

Role requirements

Cleaning the large acrylic windows, dive shift usually 4hrs (9am-1pm)

Operating a vacuum to remove fish waste and excess algae in the exhibits

Using basic hand tools (knife, pliers, scrubbing brush etc.) to remove excess algae from surfaces in the exhibits

Buddy Diving to help underwater Video Conference presentations

Other Requirements;

Being a Federal Government facility it is required that all staff engaged to do work, to undergo a National Police Check

Great work/life balance and flexibility with rostered hours.

Diving history ie. Recent diving, number of dives, competent at buoyancy control etc.

Be physically fit
