Job Description

We are looking for qualified surf coaches to lead our award-winning surf therapy sessions for London and Brighton. Sessions take place year-round with our high season from April 1st – October 31st.

Surf instructors will run group lessons on weekend days for vulnerable children and young people, aged between 8-21y old, with varying levels of additional needs. You will be guided in adapting your session to fit the needs of the group, and will be supported by staff and volunteers.

You will be paid per lesson with guaranteed session times. Additional weekday evening sessions may be arranged during high season.

Requirements: 

Surf instructors must hold at least a current, valid:

• ISA Level 1 Surf Instructor qualification
• Beach lifeguard qualification

Must be: 

• Friendly and enthusiastic

• Flexible, punctual and organized

Desired: 

• Volunteer experience or working with volunteers

• Working with children with additional needs

• Experience teaching other water sports (e.g. kayaking, paddle boarding)

Pay: 

£50 per 2 hour session, by invoice.
