A scenic 2.5 hour drive from Sydney, our Resort is located in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. The resort is a centrepiece for unique experiences and insights into Australia's wildlife, history and cultural heritage and promotes an ambience of relaxation, indulgence and luxury for our guests.

The Role

Due to continuous growth we have an opportunity for experienced Guides to join our team in the serene Wolgan Valley area, regional NSW.

As a Field Guide, you will provide the personalised tours, field activities and services for the guests, through direct co-ordination with other departments. You will participate and carry out routine ecological / conservation work and to act as the primary link between the guest and the field operations, being responsible for information delivery to guests with regards the ecology, history, and cultural heritage of the property; arranging of daily activities in line with Wolgan Valley services and functionality. At other times to carry property conservation and land care works.

About You

You will be an experienced Guide looking for a new challenge. Excellent organisational skills,  motivate and passionate about the enviorment, conservation and education on these subjects. Your main strengths also being a dedicatiion and drive to deliver outstanding guest service on every interaction.

Along with this, you will have the following key experience and skills:

  • Experience in guiding operations in a similar position in five star hotel / resort or high end tourism business
  • Valid New South Wales RSA
  • Committed and passionate about conservation and guiding
  • Good work ethics, energetic and good personal presentation
  • A team player with a consistent positive and can-do attitude
  • Strong customer focus, and a friendly and polite personality
