Our expanding premiere kayak tour company is based in central Florida is looking for eco-loving individuals to be our lead guides in our new Summerland Key location. Our kayak tours are done in 100% clear kayaks.

Qualifications:

I will be supplying the vehicle and trailer, that will be parked a short distance from the launch site. If you have your own vehicle that can tow a minimum of 2000 lbs., let me know as this could move you to the front of the line.

TOWING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!!!! You have to have experience and be able to demonstrate that you know how to back up, park and maneuver a 7 foot wide/14 foot long single axle trailer.

*Able to work our morning, daytime, sunset & night time, glow tours* You will not work all of these shifts consecutively but you may need to work one or 2 in a row, depending on the bookings that are made for that day.

Able to lift and possibly walk a short distance (25-50 yards) carrying at least 50 pounds. Our Kayaks weigh approximately 50 lbs and sometimes we need to walk them from where we park the trailer to the launch site.

A passion for being outdoors, on the water and a willingness to learn

Patience with customers and good communications skills.

You need to be at least 18 years old to apply.

Responsibilities:

Give guided tours at our Summerland West location.

Provide relevant information about the tour/area. (Training will be given).

Ensure safety for all guests and help assist in paddling techniques and skills.
