Job Description

We are looking for backup for our team of teachers 2021 and beyond. Period: April (Easter) to end of October, alternative start from May 01.

We are a surf school on the beautiful island of Rügen with a focus on weekly kite camps. Of course, we also offer day courses for beginners and advanced as well as accompanied kiting. We also offer SUP and windsurfing; from 2021 also Wingsurf and SUP - Foil.

We also have a small surf shop and a hostel with 14 beds and some parking spaces for bullis.

You should:

- Have experience in teaching. Ideally with VDWS kite instructor license or comparable.

- Being sociable and also wanting to do something with team and guests in your spare time.

- Tolerant, teamable and open to new experiences.

- Introducing your future in water sports.

- Attention to high quality teaching.

- Even after work, want to tackle it or implement your own ideas & concepts.

- Happy to work independently, be flexible and helpful.

Your job includes:

- The independent conduct of kite courses and kite camps in cooperation with the team.

- Preparation and follow up on your classes

- Co-designing events with guests such as pizza evening, barbecuing, tours or similar.

- Maintenance and repair of surf and kite material.

- An experienced & family teaching team that challenges and develops each other.

- A structured yet flexible basic concept for training. 4 hours per day with a maximum of 4 students.

- An individual and independent conduct of training in your style.

- Latest North, Core, Slingshot and Eleveight material to school and use in your spare time.

- Free living directly at the spot in the caravan or residential container in ′′ surfer style ".

- Fair flexible pay on commission basis or fixed salary or a combination of both.
