Your Responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance and building of bike trail surfaces, including berms, bridges and all features to company standards
• Be aware and abide by Worksafe BC standards and any company standard to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.
• Work collaboratively with other  teams and within department and direct team to ensure an efficient completion of projects
• Ensure accurate daily documentation for each project completed by the mountain bike trail crew
• Keep Risk Management and Safety Programs Director apprised of all activities and progress related to the mountain bike trail maintenance program
• Assist mountain Bike Patrol with First Aid extrication and Lift Evacuation if required

Ideal Candidates:

• Strong mountain biking knowledge and a passion for the sport of mountain biking
• Proven knowledge of safe trail building, maintenance, water management and erosion control, signage, and high standards for mountain bike trail construction
• First aid certificate an asset
• Skills, knowledge and safe operation of varied power tools including chainsaw
• Proven supervisory experience and ability to direct, influence and motivate a small team
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
