Job Summary

As a Mountain Coaster Team Leader, you'll be proficient with all aspects of operating the Mountain Coaster and able to lead a team of Coaster Attendants.

Essential Job Functions

Work directly with the Lift Operations, Custodian, and Grounds Crew teams.
Coordinate between Lift Operations and other departments on the mountain.
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in the department.
Respect and adherence to the company policies & protocols, as well as industry, provincial and federal standards.
Control the flow of passengers riding the gondola & coaster.
General safe operation of the gondola and mountain coaster.
Set up and take down equipment such as poles, ropes, tents and signs.
Transport carts from the gondola to the coaster and back. (This task requires repetitive heavy lifting and requires staff to join in a daily stretching routine planned out by professional physiotherapists.)

Required Qualifications and Abilities

Must have a passion for the outdoors and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
Must be able to do strong physical labor (transporting mountain coaster carts.)
Must be able to work flexible shifts (we operate on weekends and holidays.)
Mature, enthusiastic, and guest service oriented.
First aid skills an asset.
Ability to multi-task and communicate clearly over a radio.
Willingness to assist other departments when required.
Must be at least 17 years of age.

Compensation and Benefits

$16.25/hr + $2.00/hr retention bonus

*** This Position's wage includes a $2.00 /hr. retention bonus paid out in full at the end of the summer operating season.
