It's that time again and we are very excited to be in the midst of planning the upcoming 2021 Larapinta walking season. We are eager to be returning to the West Macdonnell National Park after its closure in 2020.We are currently looking for 4 to 6 guides to join the team in 2021, where our season will be running from mid April to mid September.

We will be offering either whole season or partial season contracts. Please read the information below and send in a current copy of your CV and a cover letter outlining your interest in the role, whilst adressing the key selection criteria and desired qualifications.

Based out of Alice Springs, we operate a 6 day luxury guided walking experience from our standing camp within the West MacDonnell National Park. We value active journeys, authentic experiences, fabulous food & wine and a touch of luxury.

We know that guides play a critical part of delivering this unique experience on the Larapinta trail. Therefore we are looking for well presented individuals that have a keen interest for the outdoors, a love of good food and wine and an eye for detail. We welcome applications from both experienced guides and guides new to the industry.

Key selection criteria and desired qualifications

- Demonstrated experience delivering environmental interpretation of Australian flora and fauna, environmental and cultural history.

- Demonstrated experience in Multi day or single day guiding of groups.

- Keen interest and passion for bushwalking and eco tourism.

- Demonstrated hospitality experience.

- Certificate III in Guiding or above.

- Wilderness First Aid Certificate or the ability to aquire before April 2021.

- Public passenger license or the ability to acquire before April 2021
