QUEENSLAND CASUAL OUTDOOR EDUCATOR POSITIONS
We are seeking to fill a number of Facilitator positions for ongoing work through-out 2022. If you’re a passionate and capable Outdoor Educator who would like to work in a small friendly team delivering quality sequential programs in the Noosa hinterland and coastal areas, please apply using the contact details below.
Outdoor Education is fundamental in fostering the holistic development of students while strengthening the positive culture at the college. Each year level (Yr. 5 -12) is given the opportunity to partake in progressively challenging and exciting experiences in which adventure is utilised as a medium for learning about themselves, others, and the environment.
Pay range $300 - $400 per day
The following are essential criteria:
• Working with children card (blue card)
• First Aid certification (preferably wilderness)
• Relevant outdoor recreation/education qualification
• Vaccinated for Covid 19
Experience/qualifications in some of the following activities would be highly regarded:
• Mountain biking
• Flat water canoeing or kayaking
• White water canoeing, kayaking, or rafting
• Abseiling
• Rock climbing
• Vertical rescue
• Low ropes
• High ropes
• Archery
• Orienteering
• Bushwalking
• Surfing
• Initiatives and games
