Job Description

We are looking for a qualified outdoor leader to help assist and develop our outdoor recreation program in addition to leading weekly hiking trips. Based in Fujairah, an Emirate just a few hours east of Dubai (United Arab Emirates, Middle East), we are a newly-licensed adventure companylooking to establish ourselves as leader and standard setter in the region. Our goal is to promote community, exploration, fun, and learning while respecting and valuing our environment and the local culture. Our outings tend to host multinational groups, with participants coming from all parts of the globe.

Responsibilities include leading hiking and canyoning tours throughout the mountainous regions of Fujairah (below 2,000 meters) and developing our curriculum as well as organizational standards. The candidate will be expected to work 6 days a week, with 3-4 days in the field, and the remaining 2-3 days helping develop backend aspects of the company (tending to inquiries, activity logistics, and program/curriculum development).

Please note: salary is tax free and is in line with local cost of living. Airfare and health insurance is covered by the employer, as well as gratuity after completing a full years service (extension of contract may be discussed after the season’s end).
