This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to apply for an exciting and highly sort after position as Outdoor Pursuits Manager.

The Manager of Outdoor Pursuits assists the OP Director by managing the day to day OP operations at the beaches as well as the pools on property. The OP Manager will be responsible for coordinating, developing and implementing innovative programs and be fully accountable for the successful operation and safety of the OP program. The OP Manager is also responsible for the kids camp program.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a 4-5 star resort setting or in the luxury related field 

Full knowledge of all Outdoor Pursuits services/activities

Valid Powerboat license

First aid/CPR qualified

Minimum 2 years’ experience of staff supervision is required

Must have knowledge of outdoor recreation and marine environment

Must be capable and comfortable swimming in the ocean

Previous experience teaching/coaching outdoor sports

Previous experience in the guest service industry

Skills and Abilities:

Applicant MUST be a STRONG swimmer

Good judgment and decision making

Personable, approachable, creative and adventurous

Experience in hospitality is preferred but not required

Taking care of all of our members & guests needs

First Aid and CPR certification is a positive

Ability to work flexible hours and on the weekends 

Skills and Abilities:

Environment: (Physical Job Requirements)

Lifting/Pushing/Pulling/Carrying

This position requires physical labor such as bending, stooping, walking, reaching and standing

This position may require moving a variety of equipment. Should be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 

At times this position may be require continuous standing due to the demands in the work

This position will require the ability to drive a golf cart
