Job Description

We are a nonprofit organisation that builds self-confidence, teamwork and life skills by engaging youth from diverse backgrounds across Bermuda in hands-on experiential learning through sailing.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

? University degree or equivalent management working experience

? RYA Senior Instructor, RYA Powerboat instructor, RYA Safe & Fun Certification or equivalent

? RYA First Aid Instructor, RYA VHF/SRC Assessor and RYA Dinghy Coach or equivalent are preferred

? Minimum of 5 years’ management experience at a sailing centre, preferably leading a team of youth sailing instructors in a youth development, community sailing, or education setting

? Demonstrable knowledge of teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math through sailing curriculum

? Demonstrated knowledge of boat maintenance including; basic engine and rigging with experience in operating, managing and maintaining sailboats, sail equipment, powerboats and docks

? Financial management and procurement experience

? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, web navigation, and social media applications

? High-energy, hands-on self-starter with proven ability to multi-task with strong organisational, problem-solving, decision-making and project management skills
