Job Description

We are looking for 2 seasonal instructors to join us for the upcoming season. You will be based at our outdoor centre in  Taunton and may occasional support the adventure team at the Minehead sites. The Instructor role is a significant one and carries responsibility for the management of people and resources, delivery of high-quality activities and involvement in marketing and public relations.

Applicants are required to show an understanding of the place of outdoor learning and the benefits of outdoor and adventurous activities for a range of client groups. Having experience of working within the outdoor sector and holding a range of National Governing Body awards is desirable, but not essential.

• These are salaried positions, average of 37.5 hours per week but as required by the job.
• This is a temporary contract, with 2 positions available. One is to begin on 1st April 2020, one is to begin 1st May 2020. Both contracts to end on 30th September 2020 (although there may be the opportunity for this to be extended).
• Salary: £17,000 to £21,000 pa pro rata, depending on experience
