Job Description

We are currently recruiting new and experienced ski instructors for this winter at Loch Lomond Ski area, Thunder Bay, ON!

We are looking for instructors who share our passion for snowsports and the mountains, who can provide high quality ski and/or snowboard instruction along with a high level of guest service and extend themselves to ensure that our guests experience is an exceptional one.

Essential Requirements:

- Be willing to obtain or already hold an internationally recognized ski or snowboard instructor qualifications (CSIA, CASI or equivalent)

- Be comfortable teaching skiing in a fun and safe manner to students of all ages

- Assisting students to achieve their goal of improvement

- Providing feedback to students or to students’ parents in regards to progress made in the lesson and what to work on next

-Being fully informed of all Snow School programs and other Loch Lomond products and services

-Providing gold standard service to all guests, being courteous, friendly and informative, ensuring the ultimate customer service experience on the mountain

-Answering guest inquiries and resolving problems quickly and effectively

-Attending orientation and instructor training sessions as scheduled

-Performing daily student check-in, snow shoe tours, shovelling and clean up duties as may be periodically assigned and requested

-Set up on hill snow events and be flexible with tasks assigned
