ABOUT THE ROLE

Would you otherwise be conducting overseas travel tours right now but you’ve had to put your passport away? Want to use some of that tour guide experience and show some of the World’s best kept secrets? Do you want to share these unique special places right here in Australia?

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate, Tour Guide to join the  team sharing our love of the Kimberley with our guests. You will also be called on for all sorts of things when not out on tour – we are a team and if there’s something that needs doing we pitch in and help out. There is variety, the ability to utilise your expertise and learn new things.

This is a rare opportunity to live and work in the striking untouched wilderness of the North Kimberley for the season (May to September). We don’t advertise often, most of our staff come back season after season so this is one worth exploring. Onsite accommodation and food is supplied within staff camp, there is even a pristine palm fringed creek, the perfect swimming hole! This is your opportunity to join a fantastic team, experience new and exciting adventures and create lasting memories for yourself (and of course for our guests).

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • The availability for a May 2021 start

  • A true passion for sharing knowledge

  • A commitment to supporting traditional owners and indigenous communities and engaging with guests in an intimate small group tour

  • You pride yourself on delivering the best standards of guest service, ensuring our guests leave us with lasting memories

  • High levels of interpersonal and communication skills

  • An HR license and be skilled in driving over 4WD terrain in our 4WD coaches;

  • A senior first aid certification; and

  • The desire to be able to say you work in Australia’s Outback with some of the best kept secrets in the World!
