There are wonderful places to work as a mountain leader in Asia. Here are some ideas to begin; 

1. Nepal: Nepal is home to some of the world's highest peaks, including Mount Everest. The country has a well-established trekking industry, and many trekking companies operate in the region. You may find job opportunities as a mountain guide or trek leader in Nepal.

 

2. India: India has a diverse range of mountain ranges, including the Himalayas, the Western Ghats, and the Eastern Ghats. There are many trekking and mountaineering opportunities in the region, particularly in the states of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Sikkim.

 

3. Japan: Japan has many mountains, including the famous Mount Fuji. There are several hiking and mountaineering trails in the country, and the Japan Mountain Guides Association (JMGA) offers certification programs for mountain guides.
