Rizwan is an Ex-Software Engineer turned full-time Outdoor Professional with 3 years of experience in the field of outdoors. That's not it, he is a certified Mountaineer, Travel Blogger, and Content Creator. As a travel blogger, his articles are published in some of the elite magazines of India. He quit his job in 2017 to become a full-time traveller and outdoor enthusiast. Started on his own savings, now he travel around related to his travel projects with many small and prominent travel companies which have added value and learning to his life. He likes to call himself a digital nomad now.
Here are a few things about me and my work.
1. I have led more than 50+ treks in the Himalayas and lead multiple bike trips in Ladakh. With more than 200+ customer reviews on TripAdvisor, TrustPilot & Quora I have seen the highs and lows of the outdoors.
2. Joined a travel company in 2019 as a full-time outdoor instructor. Because of having a good creative side, I handled their Instagram account for 3 months before receiving my summer Ladakh Project. Making the account gain 80K organically, while the engagement ratio took a jump from 1.7% to 3.5% when similar accounts had 1.30% was extraordinary. it was the best anyone could have done considering I was just a novice in Digital Marketing.
3. After the Ladakh Project, it was Madhya Pradesh Project where we(I & Satya Rajpoot) worked directly with Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. With a team of 4 people and few freelancers, we introduced the concept of camping with soft adventure activities. From Recce to setting up 30 campsites, from training the local operators to organizing 53+ events, from planning to executing, we saw all that it takes to run a successful project. We organized camping & short hiking for school-going children between the age of 10-18. We have organized camping for families and couples too.
