Enthusiastic Hiker
Instructed paddlesports/climbing in England for 3 years. Progressing to becoming a hiking guide outside the UK. Ready to devote the next of my career to wilderness hike guiding.
Originally started my outdoor work through an Apprenticeship in London, due to the sheer love for the work I carried on and worked in both Northumberland, UK and Dorset, UK over the course of three years. Covering water based activities (lake and river), land based (Rock Climbing, Abseil and High ropes course) and sea.
During this time I developed my soft skills delivering instructions in activities such as climbing, paddlesports, high ropes, target sports and program leads for residentials.
The work was truly rewarding and I kept seeking different challenges to keep my knowledge growing.
Over the course of this time, I consolidated my aspirations of becoming a multi day hike guide.
After experience of working with groups for a week long period, I figured I was ready for the next step and I am excited for the next element, next challenge to help me learn as much as I can and grow to help and guide others .
