ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Surf,
I surfed for the first time in summer 2004 at Praia do Amado.
In November of the same year, I enrolled at Surf Academy and since then I continued to surf.
I had as coach Pedro “Pecas” Monteiro and João “Massas” Macedo and participated in several competitions, having won some. Regional and national competitions, eg.: Portuguese Cup, National Circuit of Groms, National Pro Junior, Regionals, etc.
My favorite waves are Carcavelos, Coxos, Crazy Left, Lagide, L-Point and Supertubos.
In 2008/2009, I quit the competition and started my career as Camera Man and Surf video editor, both independently and professionally (Surf Academia (2010); C.R.C.Quinta dos Lombos Regional Circuit (2012)).
Later I worked for the first time as an independent surf instructor (Praia Grande) (2014).
I worked at the São Pedro do Estoril Surf Center, in the holiday camps, with beginners and intermediates (2015).
I worked with a group of 21 advanced athletes from Israel, with a team of 3 instructors, for 2 weeks at Ericeira in October (2015).
Again with athletes from Israel, but this time only 3 children for 10 days in Ericeira in March (2016).
I worked with beginners and intermediate students at Costazul surf school and LaPoint Surfcamps in Alentejo during the summer (2016).
Back in Lisbon, I enrolled in the surf coach course - grade 1, at Lusófona University and worked as a free lancer, with beginners, intermediate and advanced, in the following surf schools: Epic Surf School; Lombos Praia - CRCQL; Lisbon Surf Connection; Salty Souls. (2016/2017)
In summer, I returned to work with beginners and intermediate at Costazul surf school and LaPoint Surfcamps in Alentejo, where I did the internship and successfully completed the surf coach course - grade 1 (2017).
Back in Lisbon, I returned to work, as a freelancer, with beginners, intermediate and advanced with the following schools: Epic Surf School; Lombos Praia - CRCQL; Lisbon Surf Connection; Salty Souls; Angels Surf School (2017/2018).
During the summer of 2018 I did not work, because of an injury, and in September I started working mostly with Epic Surf School, and occasionally with Angels Surf School, Lisbon Surf Connection, Lombos Praia - CRCQL; I continue to work with today (2018/2019).
Surf and Performance Course - Trainer - Grade 1, validated by IPDJ and FPS.
Degree in Artistic Studies, Variant of Comparative Arts and Cultures, at the University of Letters of the Faculty of Lisbon.
Currently, I am working in Wavesensations Surf School in Sagres until the end of the season (November of 2019).
