Hello! I am currently a zipline guide in the blue ridge mountains of North Carolina and recently discovered my love for guiding! I graduated in May this year with a degree in environmental science and a minor in geospatial technologies which I am also eager to use. I would absolutely love to do more adventure guiding like ziplines, kayaks, high ropes course, or any others! I am also very interested in environmental education and taking groups out for back packing trips. Eventually I would like to get my diving instructors license and teach scuba for a while but that is in the works now. I love to kayak, hike, slackline, and play instruments! I also speak very advanced spanish and always looking to learn new languages.
Currently I am gaining experience as a zipline guide in the mountains. I also have done white water kayaking and a lot of rafting, although only being trained a little. Ive done multiple days treks many times and camped in the back country with and without leads. I backpacked alone a lot in south america and really enjoy bringing people out in nature!
Wilderness First Responder and Leave No Trace certification
My job is seasonal and ends in November but I would be more than willing to cut the season short for a great opportunity. I would love to work in New Zealand, Australia, Africa, Austria, or anywhere in central or south america! I am not too picky on where or what I am doing, as long as I am in a beautiful place doing something fun!:)
