Job Description

We are looking to employ qualified RYA Senior Instructors for their centres in South West France. Based in the amazing Landes region of France, We have 3 Activity Centres along the Atlantic coast.

The overall responsibility of the Activity/Centre Senior is to organise and oversee the running of a variety of sessions as well as supporting the Activities Manager and Centre Manager with other tasks around the centre. You will be assisting with the running of the centre on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

You will need to be hard working, motivated and friendly as well as having good customer service skills. It is important for our Activity/Centre Seniors to be flexible and professional at all times with both customers and staff.

As a member of our French team you will be paid through the French pay system at a rate exceeding French NMW - in accordance with your role. 

It is highly preferable that our Activity/Centre Seniors hold the following:

• Current RYA (or other accepted) First Aid and DBS certificates 
• RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor OR
• RYA Senior Windsurf Instructor
• Previous experience of working at a watersports activity centre 
• A full UK driving licence 
• RYA Safe and Fun Safeguarding certificate 

Ideally you will also hold one or more of the following instructor qualifications:

• UKCC Level 1
• MIAS or British Cycling Level 1
• BSUP Level 1
• Powerboat Instructor
