We are a self-funded, not for profit, membership-based organisation that represents more than 800 local tourism businesses

Located across multiple sites including four stunning caves, two historical lighthouses, four key visitor centres, and at the expanding Busselton-Margaret River Regional Airport, the team prides itself on inclusion, individuality, hard work, professionalism, and a fantastic working environment for all our team members.

An opportunity exists for people to join our team of guides that work between Mammoth, Lake and Jewel Caves, and the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. The position available is on a casual basis and would suit someone who would be content with 2-4 days per week, but flexible if the need arose to increase to 4-5 days per week on occasion, with the potential of this becoming more permanent in the future. This would include sharing weekends, public and school holiday shifts with our pool of staff.

Guiding experience is desirable, as is any caving or outdoor leadership experience. Experience within the tourism industry in roles that require interaction with the public, and especially with large diverse groups, would also be advantageous. An environmental science background would be helpful but not essential.

This job requires a good level of fitness and the ability to interact positively under pressure with visitors and work colleagues. It also involves some cleaning duties, as part of our commitment to presenting world-class attractions for visitors.

We're looking for people who understand that tourism is a seven-day per week industry, and that the busiest times for us are when most other people are on holidays. Having said that, we can offer some of the steadiest winter-time employment in the region, to the right individual.
