We are a leading tourism operator with 14 years of experience in providing 5-star marine services in the Whitsunday region. We are currently seeking experienced and qualified diver instructors.

We own and operates a fleet of vessels, ranging from 88 ft to 30 ft (including motor vessels, sailing vessels and jet-propelled vessels). You will be teaching and/or guiding dives & snorkelling charters in one of the most beautiful places in the world, delivering great guest experiences and working with our guest services team to provide 5-star marine tourism services to guests staying at InterContinental Hayman Island and Airlie Beach.

We are seeking team members that can give us a long-term commitment and we can give the same with rewarding training and development opportunities for those who excel.

To apply for this position, you must meet the following criteria or if it has a * be willing to have this qualification within 1 month of commencement of employment. This can be discussed at your interview.

- Certified PADI/SSI or another scuba diving certificate (PADI certification preferred)

- Excellent customer relation skills

- Current First Aid and O2

- Elements of Shipboard Safety *

- Deckhand/ boating skills *

- Confidence and strong leadership and communication skills

- A positive can-do attitude.

- Computer skills in Word and Excel

- Experience in maintaining paperwork and compliance with PADI (and other) legislation

- Open manual driver licence

- Recreational Boat Licence/PWC Licence *

Our divers will be based either in Airlie Beach or on Hayman Island in the beautiful Whitsundays and will be offered an attractive salary package based on skills and experience.

The successful candidates will need to have excellent personal presentation be professional, enthusiastic, hands on individual with experience working in the marine tourism industry.

These positions are ever changing and due to the range of services offered, you may find yourself doing varied and different jobs (including private charters, tours to Whitehaven Beach or Inner and Outer reef snorkelling diving, sea scooter guiding, just to name a few).

These positions are ideal for crew with white boat experience, and/or experience working in a 5-star resort.
