Job Description

We are seeking a new staff member to join their vibrant team for the summer!

The current position involves kayak guiding/paddleboard instruction and general running of our rental services.

If you are trained in the outdoor industry, love creating memorable experiences for people, can deliver exciting activities/briefings and manage groups with high safety standards in the outdoors,

then this position might be for you!

Starting date: Mid December.

Hours: 30-40 hours per week - Duration of the contract and wage will be discussed at the interview.

Accommodation rental in the heart of town and in house training can be made available for the right applicant.

To apply, you must have strong abilities and experience as follow:

Excellent customer care - Joyful yet professional approach

Thrive working in a team and also be self-directive

Great organisation skills & natural ability at multi-tasking

Kayaking guiding &/OR Paddleboard guiding experience (or be an avid outdoor enthusiast & be water savvy!)

Be physically fit

Have a full driver's license and valid NZ work permit

First aid certificate

Must be able to provide COVID19 vaccine passport

Outdoor qualifications such as these are a bonus but in house training can be made available for the right person.
