Love biking and hiking? Do you have great people and organisational skills? Looking for a fun and rewarding role that you can really make your own?  

We operates active holidays throughout New Zealand, offering guided cycling, trekking and adventure itineraries to guests. Our guides deliver quality experiences for our guests. 

We are experiencing growth and we need to grow our awesome guiding team. We are on the hunt for guides to share amazing adventures with our clients, and we would love to hear from you. 

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and friendly manner who is passionate and knowledgeable about NZ environment, history, and culture. You'll have experience of NZ Cycle Trails, enjoy being active outdoors, and be able to manage a group on the trail. You will have great communication skills, be dynamic, and able to think on your feet. 

A high degree of flexibility is required as you will need to fit in with the demands of a busy schedule through our season. During the season our trips start in late October and end in early May. Guiding is a demanding role with long hours and you can expect to be away from home comforts, often staying only one night in one place. No day is the same, and you must be ready for any challenges that come your way.

Our guides are the face of the company, and carry a large amount of responsibility. Great guides help make great tours, and we are proud of the feedback we receive from our tours, and our number of returning clients.

Ideal applicants will have

  • A strong cycle/ hiking/ outdoors background including experience of the NZ Cycle Trail network.
  • Valid NZ Class 2 driver licence with Passenger endorsement
  • Outdoors or Workplace First Aid certification.
  • Great organisational and communication skills.
  • A natural affinity for people and an ability to make sure clients have a great time discovering our country.
  • Ability to to start/ finish tours in Christchurch.
