Job Description

Seeking an experienced, fit and personable Deckhand/Dive Instructor to join an active world cruising program in the US. 

Open to male or female candidates. Start date TBD. Looking for the right fit. 

Fantastic Captain and international crew of 10 on board – lovely Canadian owner who is easy going and low key.

Planned upcoming itinerary will include San Diego, Mexico, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Central America, South Pacific and on – all depending on COVID-19. This is a solid, stable program for longevity – well suited to someone who is keen to experience destinations outside the standard yachting hubs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 12 months experience in the same role; Will need to run the dive program entirely.

Preference for previous expedition location diving (South Pacific / SE Asia) but also Caribbean and Bahamas.

No preference for gender but if female she must be quite strong as the vessel has large toys on board

Schengen visa in hand, B1/B2

Yacht master / Master 200t would be beneficial

Starting salary DOE, $4200+/-

They have a marine air compressor on board with an EVO 2 nitrox compressor. 3 cylinder banks (2 cylinders per bank) that are typically used for Nitrox diving quick turnarounds. All guests usually dive on Nitrox and instructor would need to be able to complete open water one and nitrox certification on board.

Any additional diving certificates in relation to gas mixing would be good but the way the mixing system is set up, they do not require it.

Standard MLC contract.
