Job Description

High end luxury Game Lodge based in Sabi Sands is looking for a Field Guide. The field Guide will be required to guide guests, on foot and by vehicle, providing a holistic safari experience, as well as actively assist the Safari department with the administrative operation of departments and mentorship/leadership of the field guides. The client will also consider a Field Guide coupled with a Lodge Manager.

Requirements:

• Matric/NQF Level 4
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in similar role
• FGASA Field guide (Old Level 2). Professional Field guide (Old Level 3) will be an added advantage.
• Full Trails Guide
• ARH certified and NDT registered.
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Valid Driver’s license and PDP.
• Excellent Communication skills
• Team player with management skills
• Knowledge of Weapon handling, safety, proficiency, and operating procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and Hosting skills
