Do you have a Cert 3 or Cert 4 in Outdoor Recreation and experience working as an Instructor? This role is working with an outdoor recreation centre that hosts outdoor activities for schools and groups. If you enjoy the outdoors, perhaps you're a sports enthusiast? Then this is a role where you can progress your career whilst doing what you love.

Located near Tallebudgera Creek, in Palm Beach you will be an energetic instructor who enjoys activities such as Kayaking / Canoeing- Surfing - High Ropes - Artificial Rock Climbing - Artificial abseiling. Sound like you?

Your New Position

As the outdoor recreation instructor, you will be looking after groups of children teaching them skills and techniques for a range of outdoor activities. Safety is paramount in this role, so you will be someone who understands safety techniques and ensures a safe environment at all times.

Instructing groups in the following areas

• Kayaking / Canoeing

• Surfing

• High Ropes

• Artificial Rock Climbing and abseiling

You will need

You will need experience in a range of outdoor activities such as Kayaking / Canoeing- Surfing - High Ropes - Artificial Rock Climbing - Artificial abseiling gained within an instructional environment. We will consider your application if you meet, some, but not all of these. Due to the nature of these activities you will need to complete our full physical assessment.

• Valid working with Children Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)

• Certificate 4 in Outdoor Recreation with the following experience in facilitating and managing the use of kayaks, rock climbing walls, canoeing, water sports and abseiling

• Enjoy working with children to teach them confidence and new skills

• Positive and outgoing attitude.
